Radio Newsdays
During my 2nd and 4th year at university, we had opportunities to make radio news packages during our Newsday modules.
This page features the packages I worked on throughout our 4th year Newsdays.
Newsday Radio package on Challenge Poverty Week, edited by myself. Reporter - Yasmin Williamson.
Yasmin interviewed Policy and Parliamentary Officer for The Poverty Alliance Chloe Campbell and highlighted the current policies in Scotland.
This also features a clip from Scottish Parliament of MSP Shirley-Anne Sommerville and The Poverty Alliance's asks.
Edited on Adobe Premiere Pro.
Radio Newsday package edited by myself and reported by Zosia Stanton.
This package, about the Cockburn Association's 150th anniversary, features Development and Outreach Manager Brigid Golden.
We detail the history of the Cockburn Association, their impact on the city and their new book.
Edited on Adobe Premiere Pro.
Available upon request: Radio package for Newsday module voiced, interviewed and edited by myself.
I reached out to representatives from Crohn's and Colitis UK and Catherine McEwan foundation about the conditions.
